Hey everyone I have started a new blog. Instead of making a wedding website for me and Chris I decided to make a blog. I am not that computer savi so this will be easier. Then after the wedding I will just continue using the new one for our life as newlyweds. I have had fun with this blog but it is time for something new. We finally took our engagement pictures!! We ended up going with Mike Larson Photography out of San Luis Obispo. The girl who did the shoot was Meagan and she is amazing. Chloe is a coworker and friend who assisted the shoot. We chose these photographers because of how well the pictures we had seen were but also because they are all Christians. Hi all I am so excited to tell everyone that Chris and I are engaged!!! It happened yesterday December 5, 2008. Chris and I decided to take Tuck to shadow cliffs to go for a walk, like we normally do. My brother called and wanted to go fishing so Chris thought he would just bring his fishing poll to join in. Then Melissa called and wanted to come to with Tate and Bauer. So we all met about 2:30 and went walking down to the water. We were all just talking have a good time while the dogs were being more annoying than usual. Kyle and Chris started fishing and then Chris offered me a turn to try. He told me to hold the poll for him while he put an easier bait on so I could actually catch something. And I did....he told me to reel up the line so I did and on the end was a dangling little red box. I seriously thought he was kidding so I gave him a look...(the you better not be playing a joke on me look). He told me to open it and when I did there was a perfect diamond ring and Chris down on one knee with tears in his eyes. He asked me to marry him then I started crying and of course said yes. It was the best moment of my life. God has truly blessed me. After Melissa took a few pictures Chris had one more thing to show me. He had carved A+C with a heart around it and December 5, 2008 in a tree by the water. I will post picture as soon as I get them from Mel. Until then here is what I found when I opened my big catch.

That's right folks...tis the season to be jolly. It is the holidays and I love it. I feel like it is finally acceptable for me to start listening to Christmas music!!! I love Christmas music! Yes I know it is not thanksgiving till Thursday, but still...tis the season! Here is a picture I found that is oh so flattering and oh so seasonal! Can't wait till tacky Christmas colors and decorations are back!!! Hopefully Mel-Bo, D-Bo, and T-Bo will have another fantastic tacky sweater party! Oh yeah....2 more weeks of school!!! Wooptydoo!!!

Halloween....better late than never. I finally will post some Halloween pictures. The Wednesday night before I went to the high school ministry's Halloween bash at Tim's. All the leaders were encouraged to dress up so I was one of Charlie's Angels. The others were Kori and Jen. We made a fine trio. People would ask who we were and we would tell them to ask Charlie. He would tell them... "They're my angels."

Can I just tell you how wonderful my brother Kyle is? He might have you all fooled by his silliness but he is in deed a wonderful guy! Growing up he wasn't so wonderful he used to play nasty smelly tricks on me and Chantal, but he has certainly come a long way.

I got home from school Thursday evening and left on the kitchen table were three dozen pink roses and a note that said: For my girls, Love Kyle. I was so blessed by this random act of sweetness that I seriously almost cried. I just appreciate little things in life that are so filled with love.

Life has been busy lately with dance recitals, birthday parties, and school. Luckily I am halfway done with the quarter!!! Wohoo. And Tuck just got his last shot!!! Now he is going to get fixed...so sad yet wonderful. Tomorrow is Halloween for the high school ministry so I will be dressing up. I will give you a hint. A little frustrated with my stupid camera cause I can't take pictures to post. I need to get that thing fixed but with school and work and everything else that goes along with it getting the camera fixed is challenging. Hopefully this weekend it will happen.

So school is good but busy this quarter. I have five classes on Tuesday and Thursdays and am there from 9:30 to 9:30. Long days but fun classes. I have officially applied to graduate in the Winter of 2009 and am all set to do so. Very excited to get a real job and not be so poor.

Tuck is growing (22 pounds and counting) and getting smarter. These are some things he can do now.

Friday night I was lucky enough to go to the A's game for free with Chad, Jen, and Allison. Chad got the tickets and was kind enough to share the wealth. We appreciate it. The game was fun we sat super close and there were fireworks!! I love going to baseball games!! So fun!! As you know the "couzo crew" birthday bash was Saturday and was very fun. I will post pics of that soon. My camera was tweaking out so I had to use D-Bo's.

One week till school starts!

Today is the one week marker till I start school again at good old Cal State Hayward. East Bay? Na, I refuse to call it that. I have at the most two more quarters so hopefully I will be done in December, but worst case scenario it will be March. I am excited to start because although I didn't go away to school I still made friends that I love. Here are some pics we took one day we were bored in between classes.

A trip to shadow cliffs..

Today the weather was so nice that Chris and I decided to take my man Tuck to shadow cliffs for some fun in the sun. It was also a goal for us to get him in the water. He had a couple accidents when he got to brave near the edge and fell in but over all he did good going in the water with out being thrown in. I would go in up to my knees and he would follow to come get me. He would cry the whole way till I would pick him up, but he did it and thats what counts. Here are a ton of pics cause I just love him.

I am so sure you have all been waiting to find out what was in that awesome box. Well Chris did indeed open it so I can reveal what was inside.

1. First there was a letter that I rolled up and Tyler said it looked like he was getting a diploma. Whatever it was just cool paper that I didn't want to fold.

2. Then there were two cd's that I made with fun songs we like.

3. The next box was a camo hat that is kinda ugly but I knew Chris could put it to good use. It has flannel on the inside and it is long enough to cover his ears. Its pretty funny.

4. In the final box there was Dolce & Gabbana cologne. It is my favorite smell for men so it worked out when I went to buy it and with the big bottle came shampoo and after shave for free. What a deal.

5. Oh and the little thing on top that was rolled up was my favorite. It was cute and also supported Rachel Howden in going to Belize on the mission trip in November. She and her mom made pillow cases with all different fun prints. The one I bought had little fire trucks and engines on it so I thought it was so cute and kinda funny cause it is something that a little kid would want. I loved it so much I bought me one too.

6. This one was just added to the mix while we were running errands on Friday. We ran into Any Mountain to see if they had any good socks for hunting (of course) and everything was on sale. I ended up getting Chris a nice swim suit for fifteen bucks because somehow they were more than half off. Then I got me a swimsuit for eight bucks. 75 percent off. Nice huh.

So for Chris's birthday this year I am pretty sure the boys are having another couzo crew plus t party. But I do nothing for that other than show up so for Chris's birthday I got him three things, and made two. I was creative this year and didn't spend much. I will tell you what it was after he opens everything. The point of this post is to show you how cute the gift wrapping is, and to let you know I did it all by myself. Oh and of course here are more pics of Tuck.

This weekend my family went to the Sacramento river to go boating and let Tuck swim. He tried swimming this week in the creek at the Perry's but was scared of the water. I told him he has to be tough cause I don't want a wimpy dog. We tried swimming again and he did a little better, but still cried. One day he will grow up and not be such a girl...we hope. Summer Catch Up....Meet Tucker

So I have had an amazing summer I went cruising with the girls, camping with the Conley's, to Arizona on the mission trip, coordinated Deej and Emily's wedding, and went on house boats. I had fun on each of these trips but my favorite was mission trip because I got my new best friend Tucker and I was a driver with Jen the whole time. Jen and I got a chicken toy we named Bubbles. She sat on the dash board and entertained us while driving. It was fabulous. Back to Tuck. He was found by some of the crew with on a hike. He had been washed away in a creek bed and was waiting to be found in some bush, with his sister Mali (who was taken home by Nikki). He was three pounds when I got him and now is closer to 14. He is growing big and strong so he can protect me from the dark when I am home alone and a big fat chicken. Chris was excited I brought Tuck home and wanted me to let him keep him. Maybe one day...until then he is my dog ha. Here are some picks from all of those things. I have videos too but I don't know how to post them or get them on to my computer from my phone. Can anyone help me? Seriously.

A repetitive conversation I had with a few party poopers was about the music we listened to all weekend at the Pine's Ranch. Country is the theme and scenery we are in so what did these crazo people expect? I mean seriously. Other than that we had fun doing man stuff. We shot guns, we caught fish, we went on wild jeep tours, we road horses, and we spit. The trip could be interpreted as girly to some. We line danced, partner danced, we floated down a river in tubes, we ate good food at out bbq picnic at the lake. Oh how much fun we had. I made friends with a horse named fella and Chris and D-BO shot a crap load of squirrels, oh and Kyle was a cowboy yet again. I took 455 pics and here are some.

A couple busy weekends went by and I did take many pictures for you. Liana got married, Chris continues to be a great uncle to Tate, and Josh graduated from his Alameda County fire academy and is now the real deal. Congrats to the couzo! Kind of a big deal. So they call him a fireman.

Just got a new camera for my birthday provided by my mother and her soon to be husband Keith. It is a Nikon D40 and takes great pics even though I don't really know what I am doing. I decided to try the whole blogging thing because I have really enjoyed reading (kind of) and looking at pictures of other peoples blogs and decided that I should allow people the pleasure of seeing minimal words and many pictures of fun things I do or other peoples kids (Makenna Meyers & Tate Bowen the only kids I am really ever around), cause who doesn't want to see pics of kids over adults. Thats right I referred to myself as an adult. Now that I am 22 and oh so mature. Speaking of adults we are all adults now, Me, Amy, Mandie, Katie, and Alyssa. We were so excited about this that we decided to celebrate with a cruise. These are some pics of the trip.
